Info Sustainability

Duurzaamheid is in onze visie onderdeel van een manier van leven, van de wijze waarop we respect tonen voor elkaar en voor de wereld. Voor ons is het vanzelfsprekend om onze verantwoordelijkheid te nemen naar de leefomgeving. Circulariteit maakt daar onderdeel van uit en stelt ons voor nieuwe uitdagingen. We hebben als bureau verschillende ontwerpen gemaakt die zijn uitgewerkt in hoge duurzaamheidsklassen, zoals het ontwerp voor het EcoCommercial Building Program in opdracht van Bayer MaterialScience met een DGNB Gold certificering. Het Masterplan voor Bolidt en de daarbij horende nieuwbouw zijn ontworpen met Breeam Excellent als integraal onderdeel van de ontwerpopgave. Goede architectuur is in onze visie een combinatie van verschillende waarden, waarvan duurzaamheid er één is. De combinatie van esthetiek met kwaliteit, functionaliteit, natuurlijk daglicht, comfort, innovatie, slimme constructies en vele andere aspecten maken een gebouw waardevol en toekomstbestendig. Daarin zoeken we voortdurend naar de juiste balans.

Co-creation

Our vision is that sustainability is an element to the way of life, the way we show respect towards each other and towards the world. For us it is naturally to take responsibility for our living environment. Circularity is part of that and results in new challenges. As an office, we have made different designs that are worked out in different sustainability categories, for example the design for the EcoCommercial Building Program, commissioned by Bayer MaterialScience, that has a DGNB Gold certificate. The masterplan for Bolidt, both the original design as the extension, are designed with Breeam Excellent as an integral element of the design approach. Good architecture is in our vision a combination of different values, of which sustainability should be one. The combination of aesthetics and quality, functionality, natural light, comfort, innovation, smart structures and a lot of other aspects, make a building valuable and futureproof. We are always searching for the right balance.
